The inclined rack mechanism cannot self lock. To prevent accidents caused by the mobile platform falling under the load (gravity) after the clutch is disengaged, a brake is added.
The start switch LS1 and the stop switch LS2 form a start stop self-locking circuit, which controls the output of one section of the relay coil to connect to the clutch; The normally closed contact of the relay is connected to the brake, and the normally closed contact is connected in parallel with the start stop self-locking circuit.
Several methods for eliminating the clearance between helical gears:
When the feed force is small, the double slice gear structure similar to the cylindrical gear transmission can be used to eliminate the clearance by staggering the teeth;
When the feed force is large, the transmission structure of double thick gear is usually adopted. The feed motion is input by shaft 2, transmitted to shaft 1 and shaft 3 through two pairs of helical gears, and then driven by two spur gears 4 and 5 to drive the rack and move the worktable. The spiral directions of the two helical gears on shaft 2 are opposite. If an axial force F is applied to shaft 2 through a spring, causing a slight axial movement of the helical gear, then shaft 1 and shaft 3 rotate in opposite directions by a small angle, causing gears 4 and 5 to be in close contact with the two tooth surfaces of the rack, eliminating the gap.
